Tips for Staying Safe during the Heat Wave This Weekend
1) Stay hydrated. Drink lots of water throughout the day.
2) Stay inside. That yard work can wait until next week.
3) Keep it dark. Close windows and blinds to prevent more heat from entering your home.
4) Keep the oven off. Try a popsicle instead of fresh baked cookies if you're feeling snacky.
5) Wear appropriate lightweight clothing.
And don't forget to check on loved ones to make sure they're doing the same.
